About the event
A brief note on the subject matter or topic: A grand Tiranga Rally was organized on 12th August, 2025 to celebrate the spirit of patriotism and unity among the citizens of India. The event aimed to honor the national flag, Tiranga, and to inspire participants to uphold the ideals of freedom, integrity, and harmony.
The rally commenced at MTU Gate at with a gathering of enthusiastic participants, including students, faculties, staffs and officials. Participants proudly carried the tricolor flag, chanting slogans such as “Vande Mataram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.
The procession covered a distance of 2 kilometers, passing through key locations like Sports Authority of India (SAI) Oriental College. Patriotic songs were played throughout the rally, and several participants wore attire in the three colors of the Indian flag—saffron, white, and green.
Aim and Objective: The Tiranga Rally served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and the responsibility of every citizen to protect the country’s integrity. It fostered a sense of national pride and solidarity among participants.

- 10.35 am – Welcome speech by the Coordinator, Students Affairs
- 10.40 am – Tiranga Rally (starting MTU Gate)
- 11:30 am – Reaches Oriental College Gate
- 12.00 pm – Reaches MTU back
- 12.10 pm- Light refreshment followed by photo session
- 12.30 pm- Vote of thanks

It was truly inspiring to witness our students come together in the spirit of unity and patriotism during the Tiranga Rally. Their enthusiastic participation not only celebrated our national pride but also reflected their deep respect for the values and sacrifices that define our freedom. I commend the dedication, discipline, and vibrant energy shown by the students in making this event a resounding success.

A feedback survey will be conducted to gather suggestions from participants, and photographs and videos of the rally will be shared on official platforms to inspire wider student participation in future events.
