About the event:

In international development, good governance is a subjective term that describes how public institutions conduct public affairs and manage public resources in the preferred way.  Governance is “the process of decision making and the process by which decisions are implemented (or not implemented)” Adequate disclosures and effective decision making to achieve corporate objectives Transparency in business transactions Statutory and legal compliance Protection of shareholder interests Commitment to values and ethical conduct of business. The workshop on Good Governance Practices was conducted with the experts from the mentor institute, College of Engineering Pune.

Coordinator’s statement:

The workshop on “Good Governance Practices” was successfully organised and conducted on August 23, 2019. The resource persons from our twinning mentor, College of Engineering Pune delivered their expert lectures and shared many valuable information. The workshop not only achieved its aim but also helped in strengthening the relationship with the mentor institute and also increased our twinning activity.
