One day Industrial visit was organised by the Department of Electrical Engineering, MTU under the sponsorship of TEQIP-III on 23rd April, 2019 at the Loktak Power Station NHCP Limited.
About the Visit
The objective of the visit was to give exposure to the students about the operation, control and construction features of hydropower electricity generation in real life. Hydropower generation is studied in 5th semester of Electrical Engineering.
A total of 24 pre-final year students visited the industrial site accompanied by three faculty members and three laboratory staffs of the department. Mr N Jogendra (SM, Electrical ) explained thoroughly about the operation, control and construction features to the students.
