An Industrial Visit to the Transformer Repairing Centre, Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited, MSPDCL was organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Manipur Technical University, sponsored by TEQIP-III on 11th November, 2019.
About the event
Department of Electrical Engineering has organized a one day Industrial Visit at Transformer Repairing Centre, Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited, MSPDCL located at Keisampat, Imphal which 14 Km away from the University. A team of 27 members comprise of 21 students,3 faculty members and 3 other subordinate staffs joined the industrial visit.

Coordinator’s Statement
Students have gained the technical know-how of the transformer which will help to understand deeply and coordinate with the theory which was tough in the class. And also participants have got the real industrial working environment of the transformer industry, which will help to make a ready and prepared themselves as per the industry requirement. The event was successfully held and the students were satisfied with such an industrial visit. They also suggested going more such industrial visit in the near future.
