Aim and Objective
The industrial visit to a 400/132 kV substation aims to provide students with practical exposure to high-voltage electrical systems and substation operations. The objective is to deepen their understanding of power transmission, voltage transformation, protection schemes, and grid connectivity. Through this visit, students can observe the equipment, control systems, and safety protocols involved in managing a critical part of the electrical power infrastructure.

This visit presents a valuable opportunity for our students to witness the complexities and operations of a high-voltage substation, which is integral to the power transmission and distribution network. Through this experience, students gain practical insights into power systems, voltage transformation, protection mechanisms, and grid integration, aligning with our department’s goal of providing a comprehensive education that combines theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. This visit will greatly benefit our student’s understanding and prepare them for future challenges in electrical engineering. The event was successfully held, and the students were satisfied with such an industrial visit.
