Event Description

Manipur Technical University (MTU) celebrated Independence Day 2026 on 15 August 2026 at 9:00 AM at the University Campus. The programme was attended by 34 faculty/staff members and 14 students. The celebration included an address by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, the National Pledge, and the National Anthem. Prize distribution was conducted for the students who participated in the drawing competition organized earlier as part of the Independence Day celebration. The winners were awarded prizes in recognition of their creativity, talent, and active participation.

Plan of action

The plan of action was to organise the Independence Day celebration at the MTU Campus on 15 August 2026 at 9:00 AM with the participation of students, faculty and staff. The programme included the National Pledge, National Anthem and an address by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor. Prizes were also distributed to students who participated in and secured positions in the drawing competition organised earlier, encouraging creativity, patriotism and active student participation.
