An Industrial Visit to the Loktak Power Station was organised by the Department of Electronics and Communication, Manipur Technical University under the sponsorship of TEQIP-III on 28th April 2019.
About the event
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering have organised the Industrial Visit at Loktak Power Station (Leimatak) NHPC Private Ltd. to impart the technical knowledge required for Hydro-Electric Power generate (industrial). A team of 30 members along with students, faculties, bus drivers and cooks joined the industrial visit at Loktak Power Station located at Leimatak area which is 38 km away from the heart of Imphal.

The students have gained the fundamental knowledge and also got the exposures to the real working environment of an industry which will make them ready and prepared themselves as per the industry requirement. The event was successfully held and the students were satisfied with such an industrial visit. They suggested to go more such industrial visit in the near future.
