Structural Engineering

The M.Tech. Established in July 2026, the post-graduate Master of Technology (MTech) programme in Computer Science and Engineering is meticulously engineered to meet the rigorous demands of a rapidly evolving technological landscape. The curriculum offers a strong foundation in advanced computer science and engineering principles while providing opportunities for structured, specialised pathways in emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), and Software Engineering. The Department of Electrical Engineering at Manipur Technical University offers the M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Electric Vehicle Technology. The programme is designed to develop skilled professionals and researchers in electric mobility, energy storage systems, EV powertrains, battery management systems, charging infrastructure, and smart transportation technologies. Microelectronics and VLSI Design

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Manipur Technical University started its Master of Technology in Microelectronics and VLSI Design programme in the year 2026. The programme is established with the objective of developing skilled chip designers and semiconductor professionals who are innovative, research-driven, and capable of contributing to India’s growing electronics and hardware ecosystem. The programme will make the students equip with changing requirements of the semiconductor industry, including modern EDA tools, fabrication processes, and low-power design techniques. The curriculum is designed with emphasis on practical experience through tape-out simulations, industry-sponsored lab projects, and internships at foundries and fabless design houses, enabling them to become self-reliant in VLSI design and microelectronics innovation.
