About Us
The Manipur Technical University (MTU) is the first technical university in the state, established on 23rd April 2016 under “The Manipur Technical University Act, 2016” (Manipur Act No. 8 of 2016). The University has conferred degrees upon students in B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, as well as in an MBA. These former university students are contributing to the socio-economic advancement of the country, particularly the state of Manipur, by working in various professions and walks of life. Recognizing the importance of alumni coming together, the “Manipur Technical University Alumni Association” was founded. The organization is managed by student volunteers and the Alumni Affairs Committee members of MTU. We are delighted to extend an invitation to you to become a member of the Manipur Technical University Alumni Association.
Aims and Obejctives
The goal is to bridge the gap between MTU and its esteemed alumni network. Association members’ dedicated ideas and efforts toward the university’s advancement will be encouraged, and occasional cooperation and coordination on the university’s most important issues will be provided. The association has played a crucial role in organizing the yearly alumni meet and the speaker series on campus that features distinguished alumni.

Activities for Alumni
The Association/Cell assists alumni in maintaining ties with their alma mater.
