The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) at Manipur Technical University plays a key role in connecting and bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. Our primary goal is to prepare students with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed in their careers. We work diligently to forge strong relationships with leading companies and organizations to ensure our students have access to excellent internships and job placements. At the TPC, we focus on enhancing students’ employability through skill development programs. The cell also contributed to industry collaboration by building and maintaining robust connections with leading companies and organizations. We also provide personalized career counselling and mentoring to help students make informed career decisions. We aim to support students throughout their journey, from training to placement, ensuring they are well-prepared to enter the professional world.
Activities to achieve our goals
- Internship Opportunities: We assist students in securing internships that provide practical exposure and hands-on experience in their respective fields through the department coordinator.
- Industry and Academic Interaction: We host industry and academic experts’ guest lectures, seminars, and workshops to keep students updated with the latest trends and technologies.
- Training Programs: We conduct various training programs including soft skills development, aptitude tests, technical skills workshops, career counseling, and mock interviews to prepare students for the recruitment process.
- On-Campus Recruitment: We organize on-campus recruitment drives, inviting reputed companies to conduct placement interviews.
