Date: 26/05/2025
Time: 10:00 am to 01:00 pm
Venue: ECE Dept, MTU
Participants: Faculties and Students of Azad English School, Meitram
About the visit:
The visit aimed to provide students with first-hand exposure to a real technical institution and to engage them with faculty members and university students working in various laboratories.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to interact with professors and mentors from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). The faculty members explained how core concepts in electronics serve as the foundation for advanced fields such as embedded systems, VLSI, robotics, and communication technologies.
The students also explored several university laboratories, where they observed advanced instruments and tools in action, including oscilloscopes, microcontroller development boards, and communication kits. These practical demonstrations allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of how theoretical knowledge is applied in real-world scenarios.
A major highlight of the visit was the project showcase by university students. The visitors were introduced to innovative projects such as autonomous robots, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and wireless sensor systems. The students were also given a short tour of the campus, where they experienced the learning environment, infrastructure, and college culture.
Outcome of the Event:
This educational visit proved to be a highly impactful experience for the students. Many of them were actively engaged in discussions, asking insightful questions about college life, the admission process, and future career opportunities. This enthusiastic participation reflected a genuine interest in pursuing a technical education. The visit effectively bridged the gap between theoretical learning and real-life applications.
