- Objective of the program: The program’s objective was to provide students with practical exposure to environmental fieldwork, enhance their understanding of wetland ecosystems, and foster awareness about the ecological significance and conservation challenges of Loktak Lake. Through direct interaction with the natural environment and local communities, the program aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world environmental issues, encouraging responsible and informed ecological stewardship.
- Event Outcome: The event enhanced students’ understanding of wetland ecosystems and conservation issues at Loktak Lake. Participants gained hands-on field experience, interacted with local communities, and developed environmental awareness and teamwork skills
