The IIC of Manipur Technical University successfully conducted one workshop on Prototype/ process design and Development in collaboration with Manipur Technology Innovation HUB, Mantripukhri on 7th June 2024. Online presentation was given by Malay Mohapatra, Program Manager, KIIT TBI Bhubaneshwar on the topic Process Design and Development. He highlighted the stages involved in taking an idea from conception to a market ready product.
Objective: The main objective is to know how designers bring their ideas to test the practicality of the current design.
Outcome:
- Students are aware of critical aspect of product development including ideation, prototyping, market analysis and scaling.
- Various successful case studies were analyse and practical advice was also given to students.
