Speaker’s Biodata
Jimmy Thangjam is a social entrepreneur who graduated from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and medallist from the institute. He Founder Tweak Learning. Tweak Learning is a Social Enterprise based in Imphal, Manipur, leading the economic transformation of North East India through Youth Entrepreneurship. Tweak Learning aims to contribute at least $1 Billion to India’s GDP on behalf of the North East region through its work by 2025. Tweak Learning provides various trainings to the young entreprenuers of Manipur through start-up Manipur, an initiative of Govt, of Manipur under Deptt of Planning.
Objective
- To sensitize the student of MTU about various entrepreneurship skills, attitude and behaviour development
- To aware the students on how to start a start–up enterprise with a basic idea of innovation
- To aware the students of various fund related sources for the start–up
Outcome
- Students were made aware of various Govt Schemes for establishing start–ups
- Students learned the very basic of entrepreneur skills and how one can become an entrepreneur with just a basic innovative idea.
