A two days workshop on “Basics of MATLAB and its Engineering Applications” was held on 29th and 30th of January, 2019 organised by the Department of Electrical Engineering under TEQIP-III.
Overview
The workshop mainly focuses on the basics of MATLAB and its applications in engineering fields. Using MATLAB, a student can analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models and applications. The language, tools and built-in math functions provide to explore multiple approaches and reach a solution faster than with spreadsheets or traditional programming languages. MATLAB can be used for a range of applications including signal processing and communications, image and video processing, control systems, test and measurement, computational finance, and computational biology.
