TURNITIN TRAINING FOR INSTRUCTOR

Turnitin is a leading cloud- based, commercial software service used by educational institutions to promote academic integrity by detecting Plagiarism and AI- generated content. It checks submitted papers against a massive database of websites, academic papers, and student work to generate a similarity report. MTU Library has subscribed to Turnitin anti- plagiarism software with effect from November, 2025 for the purpose of checking Assignments, Research Papers, Dissertations, and other Academic submissions to ensure originality and upload academic integrity standards within the University.

The Turnitin Anti- Plagiarism Software Training for Instructors was concluded successfully on 2^nd March, 2026 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm via Zoom. The training session was organized by Aruna Chanu Oinam (Assistant Librarian, MTU Library) and hosted by Ashita Khandelwal (Customer Onboarding, Turnitin). Faculties of MTU actively participated in the training session.
