About the Event
Good academic practice refers to the process of completing the academic work independently, honestly and in an appropriate academic style, using good referencing and acknowledging all of the sources. Achieving good academic practices involves developing one’s own independent evaluation of academic issues drawing upon research from academics on one’s field of study discussing and evaluating existing concepts and theories demonstrating one’s understanding of the key literature developing one’s own arguments. The workshop was sponsored by the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme – III, under Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India. The workshop was conducted as a Twinning Activity with our mentor institute, College of Engineering Pune.
Coordinator’s statement
The workshop on “Best Academic Practices” was successfully organised and conducted on August 23, 2019. The resource persons from our twinning mentor, College of Engineering Pune delivered their expert lectures and shared many valuable information. The workshop not only achieved its aim but also helped in strengthening the relationship with the mentor institute and also increased our twinning activity.
