About the Event:
The program was conducted as an essential part of student interaction with the industrial expert to get the knowledge of what and how a company operates. This program is one of the action plan for the Department of Electrical Engineering, MTU.
Aim and Objective:
The aim of the program is to provide the students to interact with the industrial expert and know what the industries required from them after they get in the company. The experience shared by the expert will motivate the students is one of the objectives of this program.
Coordinator’s statement:
This program is one of the activities which bridges the gap between the academic and industry. The participants get the knowledge on how the company operates as well as they get motivated by the experience shared by the experts which may not get from reading books.
Participants’ Feedback:
Overall feedback of the participants reflected that the program achieved its objectives and met their expectations.
Future Action
Industrial visit to the company’s substations are encouraged by the experts and it is planning to visit the 400 kV substation, Thoubal in the coming even semester.
