One-day Awareness Program on the Three New Criminal Laws

Introduction

The One-day Awareness Program on the Three New Criminal Laws was organized by Manipur Technical University (MTU) on 1st July 2024. This program aimed to enlighten the faculty, staff, and students about the latest developments in the Indian legal framework. The laws discussed included
• Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 (45 of 2023),
• Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023 (46 of 2023), and
• Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam 2023 (47 of 2023).

Participation and Attendance

Faculty and Staff Participation
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from the faculty and staff of MTU. A total of 30 faculty members and 10 administrative staff attended the event. Their active engagement and insightful queries during the session were commendable.
Student Participation
