The MBA Induction Programme for Academic Session 2025-2027, was conducted for three days on 8th, 9th and 10th September, 2025. The three-day event was designed to acclimate new students to the academic environment, campus culture, and institutional values. The program provided essential information and resources to ensure a smooth transition into their academic journey.
The program featured a variety of informative and engaging sessions, including:
1. Academic Orientations:
Faculty members provided detailed overview of courses, evaluation system, available research opportunities and familiarization of diverse cells which are at Manipur Technical University.
2. Interactive Guest Speaker Sessions:
Dr. Thiyam Vrubanata, Alumni MBA 2023. Project Officer, NMRP-NDDB, Manipur Milk Union, Porompat, Imphal.
Discussions were held on career scope and personal growth.
Dr. Annupama Devi, Director , Chankorb Pvt. Ltd.
Her entrepreneurial undertaking was on fabrics made from banana tree. She shared her journey right from her research on banana fibre to patenting the product and pitching ideas for getting investors.
Thomas Thokchom, MPS Addl. SP/CID(SB):
Shared his life experiences and career challenges, providing a motivational boost for students to persevere.
Lairenjam Niranjan Singh, Director of JCRE Skill Solutions:
Provided valuable insights on leadership, communication skills, dedication, and other qualities vital for successful entrepreneurship.
The program was well-received by the students, and gained a comprehensive understanding of the university and its operations. The event laid a strong foundation for the new academic session, leaving students well-prepared and motivated to begin their studies.
