Event Description |
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering conducted a one-day field visit to All India Radio (AIR), Imphal. A total of 28 students from the 4th, 6th, and 8th semesters participated in the event. The visit commenced with an introductory session involving the students, the Director, and Engineers from AIR Imphal. Subsequently, the students were divided into three groups to explore the facilities, including the state-of-the-art equipment utilized by the radio station. The program concluded with a presentation by Mr. Nongmaithem Nandakumar, Director (Engineering) for AIR Imphal, followed by an interactive session with the students. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Dr. Loukrakpam Merin Singh, Head of Department, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Manipur Technical University. |

The visit provided students with the opportunity to explore the various facilities available at All India Radio (AIR), Imphal. Engineers from AIR Imphal thoroughly explained the functions of the equipment. Through direct interaction with these engineers, students gained a comprehensive understanding of how a radio station is operated. |
