The Department of Electrical Engineering, MTU organized a one day industrial visit to Loktak Power Station, NHPC Ltd, Leimatak . The visit comprises a team of 61 members which comprises of 61 persons (No. of Students – 47 and Faculty and Sub ordinate staffs – 14)

To gain knowledge on generation of Power and understand the application of various machines process in Hydro Power Plant.

Co-ordinator’s Statement
Students have learned the various processes of generation of power in a hydro power generation plant. They have gained the exposure to real life working of the machineries involved in the process and also have seen the industrial working of the generation plant which will be a real help in their future as an Electrical Engineer. The event was successfully held and the students are satisfied with such an industrial visit.
