The IIC of Manipur Technical University successfully conducted One Day interaction programme on the topic “ Women Empowerment in Manipur” on occasion on International Women’s Day on 8th March 2024 at Start Up Incubation Hall, Manipur Technical University . The followings are the details of the nature of the session:
Objective: To promote gender equality, celebrate women’s achievements, raise awareness about women’s issues, and foster a more inclusive and equitable society for all genders.
Outcome:
- Participants awareness about issues affecting women, such as gender equality, women’s rights, and empowerment were increased.
- It encourages participants to take action to address gender-based discrimination, violence, or inequality in their communities and beyond.
- The program leads to greater social justice, economic prosperity, and human development, contributing to a more equitable and prosperous world for all.
