One Day Cleanliness Program in the Manipur Technical University Campus, Takyelpat

Objective of the program:

“Cleanliness is next to Godliness” is the motto behind this One Day Cleanliness Program. Cleaning up the surrounding will encourage environmental stewardship and teach students the value of doing so by encouraging them to minimise, reuse, and recycle waste. Students’ capacity to comprehend how ecosystems have been affected by humans. They will learn that environmental litter can have an impact on the land, air, and water. Developing a culture of social and civic responsibility among themselves.

Event Outcome:

With the help of 80 volunteers consisting of BTech and MBA students and some of the staffs of MTU, One Day Cleanliness Program was conducted successfully in the University Campus, Takyelpat.

Future Action:

NSS Cell of MTU is planning to organise a slogan writing competition on the theme “Awareness of Cyber Crime” after the Mid-Term Examination.

First of all, we would like to thank the proficient authorities of Manipur Technical University for allowing us to conduct the One Day Cleanliness Program on 3rd December 2022. And also, we would like to thank all the NSS volunteers and MTU staffs who have participated in the program.
