Gandhi Jayanti, a celebration honouring our beloved Father of the Nation, was observed on October 2, 2022, on the Manipur Technical University campus with fervour and emotion. We pay tribute to Gandhiji’s battles for our freedom and express our genuine thanks for all that he gave up for the good of the country. The event was introduced by Assistant Registrar Keisham Biju Singh at 7:30 a.m. on the university’s campus. As he recalls the life of Gandhiji, he recalls the sacrifices made by Mahatma Gandhi for the nation in order to achieve freedom. The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit I and Unit II Program Officers (PO) launched a campaign to encourage cleanliness. Staff from the university were also present.
