Aim and Objective
The objective of the two day industrial visit and training is to provide exposure to students about technical knowledge and skills of the manufacturing process and technology in industry on the existing field condition. It also aimed to highlight the machining process involved in the manufacturing technology to the undergraduate students pursuing B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering of Manipur Technical University (MTU).
Coordinator’s Statement
With selection of such an industry help the student to gain practical knowledge and manufacturing process in a befitting manner with importance to the present scenario.
Future Action
The Coordinator is expected to organize more of Seminars/Workshops/Training in the relevant areas, whichever is deemed fit for the students and the University.
Event Outcome with Concluding Remarks
The event outcome of the industrial visit and training from the students may include more exposure into practical oriented fields, manufacturing process and technology in the industrial knowledge. Industry based case study and importance of taking up research at an early stage. After successful completion of the training, the students are expected to be motivated to read to find out more into the present advancements in Mechanical Engineering.
