About
DELNET was established in 1988 as city based library network in Delhi, and was popularly known as Delhi Library Network, networking the libraries of Delhi. DELNET got registered as a society in 1992. On 13th September 2000, Delhi Library Network – DELNET became DELNET – Developing Library Network. DELNET with passage of time and technology advancements, not only widened its scope but has crossed the geographical boundaries. Presently, it is the major resource sharing library network in India connecting more than 7,701 libraries in 33 States and Union Territories in India and seven other countries.
