Students of Manipur Technical University won the 2nd Runner’s up of the Destination Infinity- Manipur IT Start up Challenge 2022 held at Manipur Information Technology Park, Imphal organized by Department of Information Technology, Innovation Hub Manipur and Cubeten Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
Project Title: HEP WaCo PUMP Hydro energy powered and water conservative pump
About the project:
Hydro energy powered and water conservative pump is an eco friendly water pump which is used to lift the water in elevated region without any electricity or fuel. The pump works based on ‘Water Hammer’ principle. It will work throughout the year without any stoppage until there is no water left in the reservoir. The pump is easy to start and also it is very low cost maintenance. The size of the pump gives different efficiency of the pump and it can lift or deliver water in a long distance and elevated area.
